The Greater Manchester Innovation Literacy Programme is an engaging, hands-on training course designed for apprentices who want to turn their ideas into action.
To complete this exciting programme, you will attend two training days held on the dates and times below:
Day 1: 12th March 2026 – 9:00am – 5:00pm
Day 2: 13th March– 9:00am – 5:00pm
After completing the two training days, you will gain Digital Badges for your CV and be certified as an Apprentice Innovation Ambassador.

The training days cover eight immersive sessions, where you will explore the entire journey of innovation—from idea generation to testing, communication, and building a culture where innovation thrives, enabling you to return to your business to improve productivity and create value

Who is behind it?
This programme has been developed by Greater Manchester Colleges, co-authored with Ben Edmonds (Innovation Ben), a product designer and inventor with 20 years of experience working with companies like Dyson.
It’s funded by Innovate UK and introduces all key elements of the national Innovation, Commercialisation & Entrepreneurship skills framework.
