Free Innovation Literacy training for Greater Manchester apprentices

Update

We’ve secured new funding through the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, so we’re able to keep delivering the Innovation Literacy Programme, completely free, to apprentices across Greater Manchester.

Who it’s for

Any apprentice living in one of the 10 Greater Manchester boroughs can take part, at no cost to them or their employer.

What’s different this time

A couple of things have changed since the last round:

  • We’re more mobile. We can now deliver in-house, at your workplace, as well as college campuses.
  • Apprentices must reside in one of the 10 Greater Manchester boroughs.
  • No Restriction on Organisation size – We can work with any organisation from Micro to PLC and Public Sector

What the programme covers

It’s a structured, hands-on programme covering the full innovation journey: idea generation, prototyping and problem-solving, building a strategic proposal, and pitching it with confidence. It’s grounded in the Oxford Brookes / Innovate UK ICE Skills Framework, and seven of the World Economic Forum’s top eight future skills for 2030 map directly onto the content.
