About The Programme
Uniquely mapped to the innovation skills framework, The Innovation Literacy Programme gives people the language, tools, and confidence to generate ideas, solve problems, and contribute to a culture of innovation in their organisation.
Originally developed with Innovate UK funding through the Greater Manchester Further Education Innovation Programme, the programme has now been completed by over 600 learners across 23 UK colleges — and is open to anyone from apprenticeship Level 3 upwards, including degree-level learners, graduates, leaders and managers and is suitable for any sector.
Over four modules, participants work through the full innovation journey — from generating their first ideas to building a business case and pitching it to stakeholders. Everything is practical, facilitated in person, and built around real challenges.
