About Course
Session 1: Prototyping — Show Don’t Tell and the Ted Brief
This module covers Module 2 Session 1 — the Ted brief, “show don’t tell,” and why the programme asks learners to build something physical rather than just talk about their idea. You’ll be tested on how to handle the moments that actually come up in the room: a learner who thinks the exercise feels irrelevant, a team whose prototype fails, a group stuck on limited materials. This is about knowing how to keep momentum and confidence in the room, not just knowing what the brief says. Six questions, self-marking.
Session 2: Testing, Evaluation and Unintended Consequences
This module covers Module 2 Session 2 — testing methods, evaluation, RAG ratings, agile thinking, and unintended consequences. The questions focus on why these concepts matter beyond the Ted exercise itself, and how to help a learner apply them to a real proposal from their own workplace. You’ll need to be able to explain the difference between testing and simply asking someone’s opinion, and why we spend time thinking about consequences nobody planned for. Six questions, self-marking.
