Evaluation Report (March 2026)
Across the UK, there is growing pressure on education providers and employers to build real innovation capability—not just technical skills, but the ability to think differently, solve problems and act on ideas.
The Innovation Literacy Programme was designed to address that gap.
This evaluation sets out what happened when that approach was tested at scale across colleges in England, Wales and Scotland.
What’s in the report?
- Evidence from delivery across multiple colleges
- Feedback from apprentices, facilitators and senior leaders
- Measurable shifts in confidence, behaviour and workplace application
- Insight into what works when building innovation capability in practice
- Lessons for scaling and sustaining delivery
The findings show clear value, strong engagement, and early signs of lasting impact.
